Anne Will of Raymore, Missouri, formerly of Salem, Missouri, passed away on February 19, 2018, in Raymore, Missouri, at the age of 77. Anne was born March 9, 1940, in Maryville, Missouri, to the late Paul Seymour and Louise (Burke) Seymour.
Anne Will was a teacher, who taught at Salem Middle School for 37 years before retiring. Even after retirement, she volunteered at the school for several years. She was even a nominee for a Salem area volunteer of the year award. She mentored and inspired Dent County children and then their children. She earned her Master’s degree in Elementary Education while teaching and raising 2 children. She loved to read, loved going to church, and traveling with her family. She adored the Game Show Network and faithfully followed the Iditarod Dog Sled Race every year. She loved being with family and friends. One of her most cherished traditions was her Lunch Bunch which included friends she held dear for many years. Everyone who knew her loved her, and she will be missed by many.
Anne is survived by her children, Eric Will of Kansas City, Missouri, and LeAnne Nash and husband Ted of Belton, Missouri; brother, Ned Seymour and wife Judy of Tarkio, Missouri; niece, Lori Seymour, also of Tarkio; and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Louise Seymour.
Funeral services for Anne Will were held on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at the Salem Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary. Interment took place at the North Lawn Cemetery in Salem, Missouri.
