Atchison County golfers traveled to Stanberry, Missouri, to compete in a tournament on April 17, 2019. Rock Port placed second as a team. Blue Jay Ethan Brumaugh scored an 81 and placed second individually. Fischer Tharp placed 10th overall with a score of 98. Hunter bags first turkey

Grady Cook, age 8, Rock Port, took his first ever turkey early on Easter morning, Sunday, April 21. It was a 21 pound tom with an 11½ inch beard. His big brother, Tayden, also took one the day before in the same spot.
