Private Pesticide Applicator Training

Private pesticide applicator training meetings will focus on the use of dicamba resistant soybean technology. The new dicamba formulations are restricted use and so require a private applicator license. A training manual is required for licensing. If you have an old manual, please bring it to the meeting.
Two meetings will be held in Holt County for those who have missed attending the Ag Updates. The first is Friday, March 9, starting at 9 a.m. at the Holt County Extension office and the other, the evening of Monday, March 12, at 6 p.m. also at the Holt County Extension office. If growers cannot attend these meetings, they can go to their local Extension office and watch a video, however, it will not deal with dicamba.
For more information, contact Wayne Flanary, Regional Agronomist, University of Missouri Extension at 660-446-3724. If you have a disability that requires special materials or services, please contact your local Extension office at least one week prior to the meeting you plan to attend.
