Angela Mace reported that the Firework Fun Color Run went well.  It was a good turnout for the event falling on Tuesday.  There were 21 runners.  There were no children participants or children in strollers this year.  Several businesses donated items for the event.  There were great prizes and volunteers.  Angela did not receive any complaints on the event.  More color will be needed for the next color run event.  Angela recommended having another color run in the fall.
Holly Huntley reported on the 4th of July Co-ed Volleyball Tournament.  Five teams participated this year due to the late notice.  The koozies went over very well this year.  There were a lot of donations for the volleyball tournament.  Holly plans to run the event next year and will put the notice out in advance so teams have more time to sign up for the event.
Angela Mace moved to put a thank you in the paper for the donations for the Firework Fun Color Run and 4th of July Volleyball Tournament.  Holly Huntley seconded.  All votes aye.
Mike Farmer commented on the good turnout for the event falling on a Tuesday this year.  Holly Huntley reported that the park was left pretty clean.  In the future, each organization hosting an event at the park needs to make sure their designated area is clean following the event.
The existing banners on Main Street light poles need replaced.  A quote was obtained from The Avalanche in the amount of $2,500 for 25 banners.  Angela Mace moved to pay ½ of the cost of the Rock Port banners and to auction the existing banners.  Billy Thomas seconded.  Mike Farmer abstained.  All remaining votes aye.
