Backpack Buddies Program off to a great start
With the generous contributions from the community, the Backpack Buddies Program for the 2016-2017 school year is going well. The Backpack Buddies Program sends food home for the weekend with children that qualify for free or reduced lunches at school. The cost to provide food for these children is %150 per child per school year. All contributions have been very much appreciated. Each weekend of the school year, Backpack Buddies gives the gift of nutritious food to children who need it. Remember hunger does not take the weekend off.
