The Craig Presbyterian Church Rummage Sale will be held Saturday, November 5, beginning at 8 a.m. and there is something for everyone! There are children’s clothes from ages three months and up, plus there are toys and other infant and children accessories, including shoes – all of which can be purchased for $5.00 per plastic shopping bag (provided). There are some girls’ dresses and outfits of a very nice quality, some being custom-made, that will be marked separately and will be not be part of the bag special. Women’s and men’s clothing and other items are also available and you can fill a plastic shopping bag for $3.00. There are books, books and more books as well as 33 1/3 albums from many famous artists. There are household items, knick-knacks, a Christmas table and a wide and varied assortment of glassware, including Coke glasses, Pepsi glasses and some very unique 7-up glasses. These items are marked to sell!!!
In addition, there is a 10-gallon Red Wing crock in very good condition. The church is accepting sealed bids on this item, with a minimum of $75.00, and can be mailed to Lu Jackson, PO Box 16, Craig MO 64437; or dropped off to Mari Ferguson at Nodaway Valley Bank, Mound City, Missouri. The crock is NOT on church premises, but you may contact Mari Ferguson at 816-294-4016 to make arrangements to see the crock. Bids will be opened on November 5.
Proceeds from the rummage sale with be used for church upkeep, including replacing the sanctuary furnace and air conditioner unit.
