As we usher out the old and ring in the new, we are excited to bring you the news and local happenings of Atchison County with one countywide paper. This will only be possible with your help as we move into 2017. According to the last census, if we look at the county as a whole we only have 5,300 people living here. This is a small community and it is important that we all stay informed of the happenings of Atchison County. Each community will continue to have their local news, church, club, organization and school, but by combining all three we want to bring a more comprehensive coverage of the county.
