This week will be a busy and special week for Blue Jays of all ages with the 50th Anniversary of Blue Jay Relays. All Rock Port Track and Field athletes who have held a Blue Jay Relays record in the past 50 years will be honored at this year’s meet. It will be a great event for the Rock Port School District and community.
Thursday, April 13, marks Mid-Quarter for 4th Quarter. Also, Rock Port students have a short school week this week and next with no school on Friday, April 14, and Monday, April 17, for Spring Break.
Teachers and students are working hard in preparation for the upcoming state assignments. Good luck to all Blue Jays as they prepare for yet another opportunity to represent themselves and our school with pride.
Be sure to mark your calendars for Sunday, May 14, 2:30 p.m., as we honor this year’s graduating class at our 2017 Commencement. This is such a special moment for our seniors and for us as a school district and community as our graduates prepare to take the next step in their lives. Let us please extend our blessings and continued support to these very special students.
Good luck to the Rock Port graduating class of 2017!
Sincerely, Jonnie Kemerling
