The 2017 Craig (MO) R-3 Alumni Association Council has been meeting and making plans for the Alumni Banquet, to be held Saturday, May 13, 2017, in the school gymnasium. The association will be honoring the 50-year (1967), the 25-year (1992), and the 10-year (2007) classes, as well as the 1976-77 boys’ basketball team and the 2017 graduates. Honored students from Craig, Corning, Mo., and Fortescue, Mo., schools will be recognized. Any others classes can be recognized at the banquet as well.
The association will be selling alumni t-shirts this year. Watch for more details. A corner cabinet made from the Home Economics building’s tin ceiling tiles will be auctioned at the banquet. The council has also lined up entertainment that is not to be missed, with more plans in the works.
The school doors at Craig will open the evening of May 13 at 5 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m. The cost of the meal and funds for the alumni will be $20 with reservations and $22 at the door.
