Shapes and Structures is the name of the workshop for younger children. Isosceles Isaac will lead these groups in identifying shapes and structures in their environment. Children will be doing some building, too!
Super Structure will be the theme of the workshop for older participants. Can you build structures with triangles, cylinders, arches, etc.? Of course, you can! Structures will be tested for their ability to stand tension and the forces of compression. This workshop will also be led by the scientist Isosceles Isaac.
Parents, please get your kids enrolled for these great experiences. Participation is limited by the presenters, so don’t be too late to join the fun. The enrollment limit for the younger groups is 20 children, and 25 children can enroll in the workshop for older groups. Call or visit your local library to sign up: Fairfax Library – 660-686-2204 and Tarkio Library – 660-736-5832.
