The Community Hospital Auxiliary met Thursday, February 15, 2018. The monthly meeting opened with 15 members reciting the Auxiliary Prayer. We were happy to welcome a new member this month. We would be glad to welcome anyone else who might be interested in joining us to come to our next meeting on Thursday, March 15, at 1:30 p.m. in the Hospital Conference Room.
Community Hospital-Fairfax CEO Roger Steinkruger gave an interesting administrative report. We are appreciative of him taking time to meet with us.
We are looking forward to the following events in the near future. It is our hope you will put them on your calendar, too:
• Friday, March 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. we will be having a 50% off sale of some of our gift shop items. The sale items will be in the Hospital Conference Room across the hall from the Gift Shop.
• The Celebrity Waiter Dinner is Saturday, March 24. The food and entertainment are always top notch! Our group has 2 tables reserved. Make sure you call soon and get your reservation. Let’s support the hospital and our local talent!
• The Spring Bake Sale will be on Thursday, March 29, from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Hospital Conference Room.
We were able to see pictures of the beautiful quilt that we will soon begin selling chances for. The chances will be 1 for $1 or a booklet of 7 chances for $5. You may purchase chances from any Auxiliary member, or at the Sunshine Corner Gift Shop in the Hospital. The lucky winner of the quilt will be announced at the Fairfax Fair in August. You have lots of time to make sure your name is in the drawing multiple times!
