Linda Oswald, president and Kathy Herron, secretary of the SB-40 Board, were present to discuss the possibility of the commission disbanding the current board and appointing the current directors of the Sheltered Workshop and Learning Center as a combined board of directors for distribution of tax funds. They expressed that their only duty is to meet and appropriate the funds. All other duties are taken care of by the respective boards for each facility. The Commission and Clerk Taylor agreed to look into the matter and make sure that the statutes would allow this before any action is taken. President Oswald and Secretary Herron agreed to go ahead and meet this year to request the distribution of funds as required.
