Early Childhood Screenings for children ages 3-5 who are NOT entering kindergarten in the fall will be held March 21 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Tarkio Elementary. These screenings will check your child’s development in the areas of language, motor and concepts. They also receive a hearing and vision screening from the school nurse, Janene McEnaney.
Kids’ Korner students will be taken to the screening from class. You do not need to be present, but are welcome. If you are interested in having your child participate in this FREE developmental/health screening, please call the elementary office at 660-736-4177 to schedule a time. It takes about one hour to complete a screening. This is a very important part of your child’s young years and parents are urged to participate in this free service.
