Abby and Jeremy Palmer of Rock Port, Missouri, welcomed their first child, a baby boy, Oscar Henry Palmer, into the world on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at SSM Health St. Francis Hospital, Maryville, Missouri. Oscar was born at 7:15 p.m., weighed 6 lbs. 6 oz. and was 19.5 inches long.

Maternal great-grandparents are Billie Vantrump, Richmond, Missouri, and the late Eldred Vantrump, Betty Placke, St. Petersburg, Florida, and the late Otto Placke. Paternal great-grandparents are the late Clifford and Doris Palmer, Purdin, and George and Mona Almond, New Boston, Missouri.
