The Commission met Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Present were: Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood, North District Commissioner Jim Quimby, and South District Commissioner Richard Burke. Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission, was attending the Missouri Association of Counties Legislative Conference.
Presiding Commissioner Livengood called the meeting to order.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Bills were reviewed, approved and ordered paid.
Monthly department reports were reviewed and approved by the Commission.
Prosecuting Attorney Brett Hurst was in to visit with the Commission and requested one of them attend a presentation about a class action suit related to opioids. North District Commissioner Quimby agreed to meet Thursday morning in Nodaway County.
There being no further business, the commission adjourned.

Clerk Taylor reported that she met with Jon Baker, Project Developer with EDF Renewable Energy. They are ready to seek approval of the right-of-way and road use agreements.
Additions and abatements were approved as follows:
Personal Property – March 2018 ( Additions to the Tax Books: 2017, $3,321.30; 2016, $16.60; 2015, $0.00; 2014, $54.52.
Abatements from the Tax Books: 2017, $421.96.
Real Property – March 2018 ( There were no additions or abatements from the real books.
