University of Missouri  Extension Specialist, Jim Crawford, was the guest speaker at the noon meeting of the Tarkio Rotary Club on Tuesday, April 17. Jim spoke about the weather and its relation to the lawns and trees this year. He shared with the Rotarians that it is a good time to get mowers ready to go and to put down some crab grass prevention. He noted that University Extension if offering some different programs than in the past, like free income tax preparation. (Submitted by Anita Sutter)
