Do you live in Tarkio and own a dog or cat? If so, the City of Tarkio requires you to register your animal(s).
The animal’s proof of rabies vaccination is required when you register. Neutered or spayed animal tags cost $2.50. If your pet is not neutered, the cost is $10.
The city also limits any household to four dogs or cats, over the age of six months. Kennel licenses are available but are allowed only in certain areas of the city.
