The annual Brownville Golf Classic sponsored by the Brownville Historical Society will be Saturday, August 25, 2018, at the Auburn Country Club. This year’s Planning Committee members are: Nick Andrew, Elaine Knapp, Jan Teten, Sharon Hessler, Darrell Kruse, Terry Vice, Ron Jones, and Bob Chitwood.
The 4-person best ball tourney costs are $50 per person or $200 per team. The shotgun start will be at 9:00 a.m. with registrations, coffee and rolls at 8:15 a.m.
The registration fee includes 18 holes, cart, favors, lunch, putting contest, TP Hole, snacks, team and flag prizes.
This tourney benefits the Society’s preservation of the Wheel Museum currently underway at 219 Main Street. The grand opening of the museum will be October 13, 2018, at 9:00 a.m.
