Rock Port Dance Team recently participated in the UDA Dance Camp held at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Dance team members attending camp included, from left to right: front row – Johnnie Davis, Harlee Pritt, Brooklyn Jakub, and Macie Hale; and back row – Aubrey Watkins, Kierstyn Jakub, Ashley Christian, Ashley Cue, and Sophie Brumbaugh.

The Rock Port Dance Team attended a UDA (Universal Dance Association) camp at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln July 15-18. The dance team brought home a superior trophy on their performances of individual dance routines. On home routine that they performed the first night, they received a red ribbon.
This camp had over 100 girls in attendance and 11 school from Nebraska, South Dakota, Kansas, and Missouri. They had six instructors that taught several styles of dances including hip hop, jazz, pom, and kick. They also had several technique classes that were very helpful to the girls. The Rock Port girls received a spirit stick all four days of camp. On drill downs, they received around 20 gold ribbons. The girls were sponsored by Kathy Ungles.
