For the first time in several years, the Peru State volleyball program hosted a summer league for area high schools. This summer three schools fielded five teams and played matches over the course of five weeks in June and July. The league gave the teams the opportunity to obtain some quality playing time allowing their coaches to evaluate their own prospects for the upcoming year. The three schools participating this summer were the East Atchison Wolves, the Rock Port Blue Jays and Johnson-Brock.
