Tarkio R-I Superintendent Karma Coleman was the guest speaker at the Tarkio Rotary Club on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. She gave an update on the Heartland Recreation Center renovations. The school is hoping to have the cardio-fitness center open to the public by October. The old pool area will be filled in and made into a multipurpose room. The rest of the renovations are scheduled to be completed by the end of the year. (By Anita Sutter)
