The U.S. Postal Service will implement new postage rates for most mailing and shipping products on Sunday, January 27, 2019. The most notable change is the First Class Mail Letter rate, which will increase from 50¢ to 55¢. Other changes include Priority Mail prices: a small box that previously cost $7.20 will rise to $7.90, while a medium box will jump from $13.65 to $14.35.
Priority Mail Express fees will also increase. Those looking to ship quickly can expect to pay $25.50 instead of $24.70. Postcard postage will remain the same at 35¢.
