Nominated for acts of heroism in the line of duty by Tarkio Chief of Police Tyson Gibbons were Officer Adam Stanton and Officer Jesse Bolin. Recognition was made at the Tarkio Community Building during the annual special Christmas meeting. Both recognitions were signed, and presented to the officers by Mayor Tim Morehouse. Notation of their actions will be made to their permanent employee files. The awards were for the officers’ selfless heroic actions displayed during an accident October 6, 2018, just north of Tarkio on Hwy. 59 with a truck in the deep ravine.
