The Atchison County Commission met Thursday, April 4, 2019. Present were: Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood, South District Commissioner Richard Burke, and Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission. North District Commissioner Jim Quimby was absent.

Presiding Commissioner Livengood called the meeting to order.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Bills were reviewed and approved.

Month-end department reports were reviewed and approved by the commission.

Clerk Taylor presented the unofficial election results. Final certification of the results will be Friday, April 5.

Clerk Taylor presented a notice from Nationwide 457b Deferred Compensation Plan that an incorrect Fixed Account Amendment was sent to the county by mistake and they have now provided a correct amendment for review and signature. Presiding Commissioner Livengood presented the amendment for review. Following review, the commissioners voted to approve the amendment as presented.

Road and Bridge Supervisor Adam Meyer was in to report on preliminary estimates of road damage related to the flood. The commission requested that he forward the information to Emergency Management Director Rhonda Wiley.

The commissioners then went to look at the water levels.
