Marty Liles, MoDOT Northwest District Engineer, was present to visit with the commission about potential ways to open I-29 to Highway 136. The commission agreed to contact everyone involved, including law enforcement to discuss options.
Adam Meyer, Road and Bridge Supervisor, was in to discuss road issues.
Presiding Commissioner Livengood reported that he was contacted by Chad Ottmann, working as agent for his father, James Ottmann, who stated they were interested in terminating the lease agreement for pasture ground adjacent to the landfill. Clerk Taylor pulled the agreement and noted that it required a 30 day notice in writing to the commission. The term would expire October 1, 2019, with a bid for a new lease being let in August of 2019. Mr. Ottmann was notified of the terms and conditions to terminate.
There being no further business, the commission adjourned.
