The TEC Club met Tuesday, July 23, at Aunt Martha’s Bed and Breakfast in Fairfax, Missouri. It was a glorious July day and the snack trays were full. Deb Johnson won high and Martha Shaffer won second high only one point behind Deb. We had a tie for low, Merylan Lowrey and Janell McQuinn. It’s hard to split a quarter so Deb solved the problem, contributing a quarter to the cause.
Janell was hostess and served an ice cream delight in an Uncle Sam hat topped with a big strawberry. Two homemade fruit tarts of strawberry and blueberry carried out the red, white, and blue theme. The coffee pot was working and the conversation turned to medical problems and memories of who had what back when and who their doctor was at the time. From there we rated the medical personnel of Atchison County and beyond. I have always known that pitch is really good for your health.
