The team traveled to Ludlow, Missouri, to take on the Southwest Livingston Wildcats. Ludlow, being in the path of a few storms recently, had very wet field conditions, but that didn’t stop the Wolves from claiming the 68-22 victory.

The Wolves took the opening drive down to set the tone for the rest of the game. Quarterback Jake McEnaney carried the ball in for a one-yard run, scoring six for the Wolves in the first quarter.

In the second quarter, Briacin Bywater scored two touchdowns and a two-point conversion, with Jarrett Spinnato adding the second two-point conversion. With McEnaney’s own touchdown and Kaylin Merriweather’s touchdown and a successful two-point conversion run by McEnaney, the Wolves ended the quarter up 36-14.

In the third quarter, McEnaney had a one-yard touchdown with Bywater adding a successful two-point conversion. Bywater had his own one-yard touchdown run with Spinnato completing the two-point conversion, making the score 52-22 Wolves.

In the fourth quarter, two more touchdowns and two-point conversions by Merriweather, McEnaney, Spinnato and Bywater sealed the deal, ending the game with 68 points for the Wolves and 22 points for the Wildcats.

With the first win under their belt, the East Atchison Wolves will face the NorthWest Nodaway Muskets in Fairfax this Friday. September 6, at 7:00 p.m.
