It was in the fall of 1955 that these Craig High Football team players and their coach hopped in the “Green Hornet” to drive around Craig celebrating a win. Pictured above, left to right, are 1956 CHS seniors, Jim Burnsides, Tommy Ward, and Keith Reynolds (who owned the car) along with Coach Tom Kite.

The “Craig Cronies” will be meeting for lunch Thursday, October 17, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at the Golden Corral in St. Joseph, Missouri. Anyone who attended Craig School, lived in Craig, or recalls good times there is welcome to join in the fun gathering. Renewing Craig High friendships and sharing annuals, photographs and memories are always the highlights at a “Cronies” lunch together.

A large Craig Community Vacation Bible School picture, donated recently to the Holt County Historical Society, by Dennis, Sharon, and Roberta Gates of Shenandoah, Iowa, will be on display (with a magnifying glass) at the lunch. Several have been named and it is hoped everyone in the large group can be identified.

“Craig Cronies” meets (weather permitting) every three months on the third Thursday at the Golden Corral in St. Joseph at 1:00 p.m. for lunch. A reservation is not necessary as a room is reserved.
