The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) has assigned Kyle Dick as the new conservation agent in Atchison County.

Agent Kyle Dick is from the Springfield, Missouri, area. He will be moving to Atchison County with his wife, Madison.

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Conservation and Management in 2017 at Missouri State, he began his training in the Academy to become a conservation agent in April 2019. Prior to training, he worked at the National Tiger Rescue Sanctuary in Saddlebrooke, Missouri.

Kyle is an avid outdoorsman and brings great knowledge of Missouri’s resources with him to Atchison County.

“I really like this region of Missouri and look forward to working here,” he said.

Becoming a conservation agent is a life-long dream for Kyle, who grew up hunting with his father.

“Hunting has always been a passion of mine. I have great memories of being in the deer stand with my dad from a young age. I’ve wanted to be a Conservation Agent since I was 11 years old. I knew this would be a great career to ensure that my favorite hobby is safe for everyone else who enjoys it, and protecting our region is an important part of that,” Kyle said.
