Michelle Fagerstone, Director of Marketing at Second Harvest, was the guest speaker at the November 5, 2019, meeting of the Tarkio Rotary Club. She shared with the Rotarians that food insecurity exists in every county in the country. In Atchison County with 5,200 residents, nearly 700 individuals are food insecure, making the insecurity rate 12.3%.
