The Missouri Corn Growers and Northwest Corn Growers will host an informational meeting Thursday, January 16 at the Fulkerson Center at Missouri Western State College. The meeting will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. with the formal program beginning at 9 a.m. All farmers and those from adjoining states are welcomed to attend. Lunch is provided by local and regional agribusinesses.

This year, the program will address marketing crops with Dan Basse, Ag Resource Company from Chicago. Bryce Andrew, DTN will discuss weather outlook and will help us plan for the upcoming season. There are changes to the farm bill and Corey Lesher, Farm Service Agency County Director, will discuss those changes and inform growers of decisions they will be facing. Also, Missouri corn representatives will update growers on events and policies affecting the corn market. Representative Sam Graves or a staff member from his office, will give a Washington policy update.
