The East Atchison Wrestling Team competed in the Mid-Buchanan Tournament Monday, January 20, 2020. This event had been rescheduled from an earlier date, so the Wolves had not wrestled since December 21.

Despite having almost a month off, the Wolves had a great showing and placed 8th out of 23 teams. Medalists were Justin Stanton, champion at 120 pounds, and Ashton Yeary, 2nd place at 285 pounds. Also placing were Aaron Schlueter (170 pounds) 5th, Cameron Nance (182 pounds) 5th, and Lucas Joesting (106 pounds) 6th. The Wolves will wrestle again on Thursday, January 23, in the Mid-Buchanan Quad. Wrestling begins at 5:30 p.m. (weather permitting).
