The Tarkio High School FFA Chapter held a fish fry Sunday, February 21, 2021. The drive-through event was such a huge success! The FFA members and helpers served over 400 meals, which is 100 more than they have ever done before! Proceeds from the event will be used to send students to leadership conferences and contests throughout the year. Bo Graves and Tessa Rolf are pictured above handing out orders.

The Tarkio FFA hosted its annual fish fry Sunday, February 21, 2021. At 8:00 a.m. the fry crew fired up the fryers and began breading fish and chicken in preparation for the busy day. The officer team along with other members made up the cole slaw and prepped the desserts. At 10:30 a.m. we began filling orders for citizens who came through the drive-thru line. Many times, throughout the morning we had three to five vehicles in line at a time and even saw 10-15 at one point waiting to be served by one of our members. The Tarkio FFA members were able to keep the line moving quickly all morning.
After five trips to Hy-Vee to get more food to help keep up with the demand, the FFA members were able to feed every person who came through the line. The Tarkio FFA served aver 400 meals, which is over 100 more meals than we have ever served in the past.
The FFA chapter appreciates all the parents and supporters who helped with the meal preparation and all the community members who came through the line and supported the chapter. We hope to see everyone again in 2022!
