Due to the pandemic this past year, many schools who annually collect tabs for the Ronald McDonald House Charities KC were not able to make the donations as usual. So collectively this year a “Moment of Impact” has been created. Fourteen schools in Northwest Missouri have come together for some fun school vs. school competition to see who can raise the most pounds in tabs for donation. Bragging rights, a traveling trophy, and a cold treat are in store for the winning school.

The Northwest Missouri Tab Challenge began March 8 and will conclude on April 1. Weekly totals will be published via social media and within each school. The public, including businesses, is encouraged to seek out a student in your community and donate. Schools participating in the challenge include Rock Port, Tarkio, West Nodaway, North Nodaway, Northeast Nodaway, Jefferson – Tri-C, Stanberry, Savannah Elementary, South Nodaway, Nodaway Holt, Mound City, Horace Mann, St. Gregory’s, and Maryville.

Small donation challenges will be added within the challenge. All items collected will be donated directly to the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Kansas City. These items are also on the top 10 list of items needed. To find a complete listing visit https://rmhckc.org/how-you-can-help/wish-lists/.
