The Community Hospital Auxiliary met March 21, 2019, in the conference room at the hospital. The meeting opened with 15 members reciting the Auxiliary Prayer.
The secretary’s and the treasurer’s reports from the February meeting were given and both approved as presented.
The Sunshine Corner Gift shop has lots of new spring items. There are Easter basket items for all ages. We hope you’ll check it out soon. As always, all proceeds from the gift shop and our other fundraisers benefit equipment purchases for Community Hospital-Fairfax. Members expressed gratitude to the Gift Shop Committee for the wonderful Gift Shop Volunteer Luncheon. It was beautifully decorated and as always a delicious lunch was served.
Our April meeting would normally be scheduled for April 18, 2019. Due to a scheduling conflict with our annual Spring Bake Sale, the Auxiliary Board and members voted to cancel the April meeting. The bake sale will be held as advertised on Thursday, April 18, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or until sold out. It’s a great opportunity to let someone else do your Easter baking! We hope to see you there.
Our next monthly meeting will be Thursday, May 16, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. in the hospital conference room. The board will meet the same day at 11:30 a.m.
