Joan Stevens, at top, was the guest speaker at Tarkio Rotary on April 2, 2019. She told of the 884 persons displaced in Holt County and 177 persons displaced in Atchison County by the flood. She explained the resources that are available for flood victims including a program to adopt children who need clothing, underwear, toiletries etc. Brad Mathers, pictured above on the left, Tarkio Rotary president, presents a $500 check to Rev. Glenn Scott, above right, for the Tarkio Westboro Ministerial Alliance’s use for flood victims.
