DESCRIPTION:It’ll be a busy\, fun-filled night in Tarkio Friday\, January 23\, with the East Atchison basketball teams taking on Osborn/Stewartsville in homecoming action\, the annual parachute routine\, and crowning of the homecoming kings and queens. \nBut also on that night’s “menu” of activities is the CTA chili supper. Stop by the Tarkio Elementary cafeteria from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. for a delicious bowl of chili along with homemade cinnamon rolls made by Karla Chambers\, Sasha Bruce\, Paige Agnew\, and other favorite local bakers. Food is $10 for adults\, $5 for students\, and children 4 and under eat for free. The first 200 people are guaranteed a meal\, so don’t miss out! Funds raised from the event will go toward scholarships for students.

DESCRIPTION:UPDATE: East Atchison homecoming basketball games have been postponed to February 18 due to incoming winter weather. The chili supper will still take place Friday\, January 23\, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Tarkio Elementary Cafeteria. Stay tuned for the new date of the 3rd grade parachute routine performance. \nThe East Atchison winter homecoming festivities will take place next week at Tarkio and Fairfax high schools. The week will end with the Wolves and Lady Wolves taking on Osborn/Stewartsville at the Tarkio Activity Center (TAC) on Friday\, January 23. Games will begin at 6:00 p.m. and the crowning of the Fairfax and Tarkio homecoming kings and queens will take place following the games. \nThe CTA will be hosting a chili supper in the Tarkio Elementary Cafeteria beginning at 5:00 p.m. Friday\, January 23.
