Celebrate National Library Week

Ready, Set, Library! Race to discover the possibilities at your library during National Library Week, April 7-13, 2024.

Libraries give us a green light to something truly special: a place to connect with others, learn new skills, and focus on what matters most.

Get ready to explore, become inspired, and connect with your library this National Library Week.

In honor of Library Week, your local Atchison County Libraries will be offering special ways for patrons to celebrate:

1) Bring in two items for the local food pantry and get your late fees forgiven!* (Maximum forgiveness is $5.00).

2) Renew your library card or show your local librarian which Atchison County Library app you use (Boundless, Blackstone Unlimited, or Kanopy) for a chance to win a free drink from Buttercup, Happy Hills, and JumpStart. (Each person who renews their card or can show via their phone that they have an account and use any of our apps will be entered into a drawing for a free drink). There is still time to start using the library apps, just visit the “Resources” tab on the website: youseemore.acl.com

3) Check out a book and pick a prize! Each branch will have prizes for adults, teens, and children! Anyone who checks out a book can choose from a prize basket. (Maximum one prize per day, while supplies last.
