The Tarkio Rotary Club is once again participating in the Shoes for Orphan Souls program that collects shoes and socks for needy children worldwide. This year, the local club is also raising funds through a basketball gift basket drawing. Tarkio Rotarians will be selling chances to win the basket at the February 13 East Atchison home basketball games in Tarkio. Games begin at 6 p.m.
