Fairfax Baptist Church is collection point for Operation Christmas Child

To help make it more convenient to be involved with Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Child 2023, the Fairfax Baptist Church has become a collection point for Northwest Missouri churches and organizations (and for any churches or organizations in surrounding areas).

Please note the following:

(1) If you are the person in charge of Operation Christmas Child for your organization, you are a project leader. You may go online to samaritanspurse.org/OCCProjectLeader for help in planning and promoting OCC within your organization.

(2) To order free materials (instructions for packing, labels, promotional materials) go online to samaritanspurse.org/occ. Orders for free materials should be placed as soon as possible, but must be ordered prior to October 23. The deadline for ordering special shoeboxes was October 1. (You may use your own shoebox or shoebox size plastic box.) Instructions for donating $10.00 per box to defray shipping costs are included in the “How To Pack A Shoebox” free materials.

(3) Collection dates for 2023 are November 13-20. The collection site will be the Fairfax Baptist Church, 604 Angell Street, Fairfax. The schedule will be as follows: Monday, November 13, 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.; Tuesday, November 14, 9:00 a.m. to noon; Wednesday, November 15, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.; Thursday, November 16, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.; Friday, November 17, 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, November 18, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; Sunday, November 19, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.; Monday, November 20, 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
