The Missouri Republican Party and Atchison County will hold a caucus March 2, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Due to the legislature not reinstating the Presidential Preference Primary, the only way for Missouri Republicans to vote for a nomination for a presidential candidate is through the caucus process. All Republican committees of the 114 counties and the City of St. Louis will hold caucuses. Participation, registration, and information on the caucus rules are available on the website mogop.org. The Atchison County caucus will be held at the Atchison County Courthouse, 400 South Washington Street. Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. for registration and the caucus will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. Everyone who wants to participate in the caucus must show their photo ID at check-in and turn in the pledge, which can be found at acmoelections.org.
Print the form and have it completed when you arrive to save on time. If you are not able to print it and fill it out in advance, forms will be available at the caucus.
“We ask all Missouri Republicans to participate in person March 2, 2024, at their county caucus to begin the process of nominating the next President of the United States,” said Nick Myers, chairman of the Missouri Republican Party. Additional dates of importance in the nomination process are the Congressional District Conventions on April 6, 2024, and the Missouri State Convention in Springfield, Missouri, on May 4, 2024.
