Second informational meeting for Rural Atchison County Wastewater Feasibility Study

The communities of Fairfax, Rock Port, and Tarkio will hold a town hall meeting Monday, December 16, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Velma Houts Building, 201 E. Hwy. U.S. 136 in Rock Port, Missouri. The meeting will be held to update residents about the regional wastewater feasibility study the communities are participating in. Representatives from Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments and engineers from Lamp Rynearson will be on hand to discuss the regional draft study that is approximately 60% complete. The study is being funded through the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. This is the second of three town hall meetings that will be held to complete the feasibility study.
