The Flying Roll Feast, sponsored by the United Methodist Church in Tarkio, is coming up on Sunday, September 25. A bountiful meal of pork loin, cheesy potatoes, green beans, salads, desserts, drinks and “flying rolls” will be served. Area residents are invited to dine between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the elementary school in Tarkio. Carry-out and delivery meals are also available.
Prices are $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 3 to 12. There will be another highlight to this year’s event. Gift baskets full of goodies will be available for silent auction. These baskets will be displayed in the hallway outside the cafeteria and multi-purpose room. Silent bids may be submitted with the winning bids being named at the end of the feast. High bidders will be notified to make arrangements concerning delivery.
