The Watson Quilters met Thursday night with Donna Whelan, Fran Phillips, Teresa & Jim Hickok, Linda Viets, Holly Holmes, Tammy Oakes, and Kay Gibson attending. The girls had some material to go through, and the rest was taken to Sandy for the Hamburg School kids, then to her church for their outreach.
We almost finished our current quilt top, and we got some ideas for our soldier quilts. A special thanks to Tammy, Fran, & Donna when my car wouldn’t start. It only took four of us gals to jump it and get it running again. One to supervise, two to do the work, and one to hold the light. Thanks, girls.
PUFFY CLOUDS
One day, my head was in the clouds.(I have a long neck.) While I was looking around up there, I got to thinking, this stuff would make good batting for quilts. It’s light and fluffy. When it blankets the earth, it is warm and snuggly. Rain clouds wouldn’t work cause they would be too noisy. Snow clouds wouldn’t work cause these major hot flashes would melt a snow man. It would have to be the white fluffy clouds of a blue sky day.
But how am I going to stuff it in a bag?
