The Rock Port Optimist Club is collecting registration for the 2019 baseball/softball/t-ball season. Registration forms were sent home with Rock Port Elementary students and seventh graders on Friday, March 1.

Registration is due by Friday, March 8.

Fees are $10 per child, with a $30 maximum per family. Include the registration fee with the form and turn it in to your child’s teacher or to the Atchison County Mail. For questions, contact Christopher Roup, 660-253-0494, or W.C. Farmer, 660-744-6245.

Choices for teams are: Co-Ed T-Ball for 5- and 6-year-olds, Girls Coach Pitch 8 & Under, Girls Softball 10 & Under, 12 & under and 14 & Under, Boys Coach Pitch 8 & Under, Boys Baseball 10 & Under, 12 & under and 14 & Under.

All head coaches must be Optimist members. If you are interested in coaching or helping with a team, please indicate that on your child’s registration form.

The Rock Port Optimist Club looks forward to providing this program each year for the youth in the community. All children from Atchison County are welcome to play. Parents can pick up forms at the Atchison County Mail. Registration fees help cover the cost of league memberships and equipment.
