The Tarkio Board of Aldermen passed Bill #233.19, Ordinance 219.19, an ordinance amending Chapter 605 Business Licenses and Business Regulations, Article I, In General for the City of Tarkio, Missouri, at the March 5, 2019, meeting amending the Business License ordinance.

The changes made will affect any person, firm or corpor-ation that is engaged in any trade, business or occupation doing business in the City of Tarkio. There is some exception to persons not charged in Section 605.080 of the City’s Code.

As always with the Tarkio license, you must first apply for and obtain a license to conduct such trade, business or occupation from the City Clerk and pay the license fee. The fees have changed to a flat $25 for any license, is not limited to the sale of goods and merchandise, but shall extend to and include services. Carnivals and circuses shall be $50 per day.
