A two-vehicle accident occurred at the four-way stop at the intersection of Hwy. 136 and Route 111 in Rock Port, Missouri, Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at 3:28 p.m. The accident occured as a Silverado pickup, driven by Christian P. Engholm of Adrian, Michigan, was headed westbound on Hwy. 136 and failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection with Route 111. A Honda Odyssey, driven by Stevie C.M. Eickhoff of Stella, Nebraska, had been traveling north on Hwy. 111 and stopped at the stop sign. Eickhoff attempted to make a left turn onto Hwy. 136 when the Engholm Silverado ran the stop sign and collided with the turning Odyssey.

The Odyssey came to rest in the intersection. Rock Port Police Officer Derek Morriss responded to the scene and directed traffic around the wrecked van. The van was towed from the scene by Double M Towing. An Atchison-Holt ambulance was called to the scene to treat Eickhoff.
