The holidays are approaching and the Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax Food Pantry dates are changing for the months of November and December.

In November,  the food pantry will be open Tuesdays,  November 5 and 12, and Thursdays, November 7 and 14, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. On Tuesday evening, November 5, the food pantry will also be open from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Tarkio First Christian Church will be responsible for opening the food pantry in November.

The opening dates will also be earlier in the month of December. The food pantry will be open Tuesdays, December 10 and 17, and Thursdays, December 12 and 19, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. On Tuesday, December 10, the food pantry will also be open from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. The food pantry board members will be responsible for opening the food pantry in December.

The food pantry is in need of 5 pound sugar, 5 pound flour, cake mixes, Jiffy corn mix, cereal, crackers, 16 ounce peanut butter, chili with beans, boxed and canned potatoes. The food pantry board meeting will be held Monday, November 11, at 9:30 a.m. The food pantry is now located at its new location at 315 Main Street, Tarkio Missouri.
