The Rock Port City Park Board met Wednesday, July 28, at 7:00 p.m. Members present were Devon Sons, Shauna Farmer, Jill Lager, Tisha Jackson, and Jennifer Geib. Members not present were Clint Dougherty, Sheena Roup, Tawni Ellis, and Katey Kroger.
The agenda, June minutes, and June financials were approved.
The lifeguards have been nationally recognized by Star Guard twice this summer.
Star Fish is suggesting the Park Board have someone certified through a CPO/AFO/Aqua Tech program.
The last day for the pool will most likely be August 10 due to lifeguards heading to college and high school sport practices starting.
The mowing contract with Northwest Missouri Industries, Inc. has been signed and the park board has been pleased with the job that has been done.
The park maintenance agreement, calendar and Park Board ordinances will be reviewed at a meeting with more members present.
The meeting was then adjourned.
