The Rock Port R-II Elementary 2021 Christmas Program was held Monday, December 13, 2021. The progam, “Elfis and The Sleigh Riders,” was directed by Mrs. Lynn Hunter.
The students sang “Uh-Uh-Uh,” “Ev’rybody’s Goin’ On A Sleigh Ride,” “So Sad At Santa’s Pad.” Jack Bailey, Isaac Dougherty, and Taylor Cook were soloists during “Are You Lonely And Blue?” The final song was “North Pole Rock ’N Roll.”
Parts performed by the third grade students were: Elfis, Jack Bailey; Mrs. Claus, Taylor Cook; Jerry Lee (piano player), Kipton Waigand; Santa, Isaac Dougherty; Stanley (bass player), Ethan Hunter; and Bix (drummer), Noah Davis. Background singers were: Aretha, Tara Wamsley; Mariah, Ali Ellis; and Celine, Emma Roberts. Elves were: Emily Herrington, Elaina Kroger, Joci Culp, Harper Roup, Deveni Barth, Kambrie Driskell, Caisyn Hall, and Nella Steuter. Reindeer were: Damian Barth, Alex Gibson, Kaden Perry, Colton Zach, Anthony Masonbrink, Rogan McCown, Jackson Hogue, Mason Hale, Locke Chaney, Cy Vogler, and Andy Meyerkorth.
